Dreadmoor FAQ
When does Dreadmoor come out?
Dreadmoor enters Steam Early Access on November 9, 2026 at 13:00 UTC. That is 5:00 AM in Los Angeles, 8:00 AM in New York, 2:00 PM in Berlin and 9:00 PM in Beijing.
How much does Dreadmoor cost?
$19.99 in the United States, with an optional $4.99 Early Access Supporter Pack. Dream Dock has said the price will rise when the game leaves Early Access.
Is Dreadmoor on console?
No. The Early Access release is Windows PC only, sold through Steam. No PlayStation, Xbox or Switch version has been announced.
Is there a free demo?
Yes. The Dreadmoor demo has been on Steam since October 6, 2026 and contains its own questline set in a remote settlement, ending at The Throat gate.
Does demo progress carry over to the full game?
No. Dream Dock has treated the demo as a separate build, and progress has been wiped after every playtest so far.
Is Dreadmoor a horror game?
It is horror-adjacent rather than a jump-scare game. Dream Dock describes building tension through fog, sound, distance from safety and a day/night cycle rather than constant combat.
Ready to head into the Submerged Lands?
Start with the release times and the demo walkthrough, then read the fishing guide before you spend a single torn page on bait.
